Jeremy Borsos jeremy.borsos@h2osu.org
Kathy Borsos kathy.borsos@h2osu.org

Although they grew up in houses less than a half mile apart, it wasn’t until more than twenty years later at college that Jeremy and Kathy met, twenty-five miles away from their hometown. Both of them followed very unique and differing paths into university life, but by the grace of God they found each other and were married in the Fall of 2007. Besides falling in love with each other during those college years, God was at work in their hearts in a different way. He grew in them a burning desire to love Him deeply, and also to share that love with others. God has transformed who Jeremy and Kathy are today, and called them to serve Him by ministering to college students at OSU. Their passion is to reach young minds with the Good News of Jesus, and to help them experience the love, purpose, and freedom of a life lived with Christ

Kevin Cody kevin.cody@h2osu.org

Kevin grew up in a great Christian home, and put his faith in Christ at a young age. In college, as he began to take more responsibility for his own spiritual life, God opened his eyes to the great spiritual need around him, and called Kevin into full-time ministry by putting 2 Timothy 4 on my heart. When he heard a number of old friends were planting a church at OSU, the Lord showed him through prayer that h2o was where He was being called. Kevin is passionate about making disciples for Jesus through small groups, missions, and knowing and living out God's Word. When he's not working you can find Kevin enjoying a cup of coffee (ok, usually several each day), watching Chicago Cubs baseball, or reading on his kindle.

Brandon Cole brandon.cole@h2osu.org

Brandon is a Cincinnati native who has bled Scarlet and Gray his entire life. He grew up going to church every Sunday, but viewed Church and God as something for "older people." His first two years as a student at Ohio State were surrounded in the party scene but God had a different plan for his life. After running from him for 20 years, Brandon had the pieces put together for him about who God really is on October 6, 2009. That was the day he placed his faith in Christ and after a couple of months he felt a conviction to reach out to college students. Outside of the ministry, Brandon is a huge sports fan. He loves OSU Football and the English soccer team, Chelsea FC. Lastly, he is newly married to the woman of his dreams, Sarah. She's going to graduate school at OSU for Higher Ed and is excited to reach out to students through her assistant hall director position in Morril Tower, a dorm on campus. God has Used h2o Church to impact Brandon and Sarah's lives and they're both ecstatic to be teamed up with the church in the hope of seeing OSU's campus transformed by the Gospel!

Sarah Diephouse sarah.diephouse@h2osu.org

Sarah was born and raised in Ann Arbor and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2008. She began college as a pretty cynical agnostic, but after encountering Christ through the love of classmates, she began wrestling with the Gospel and by the summer of 2005 Jesus won her heart. In the summer of 2008, with one class left to graduate, Sarah decided to move to Columbus to be a part of starting h2o so she enrolled at OSU and took her final college course there! After graduating in December 2008 she decided to go on staff with h2o and has genuinely felt it was one of the best decisions she ever made. She has continued to feel incredibly blessed to have the privilege of working her dream job at h2o. In the summer of 2009 the man of her dreams, Matt Diephouse, took a leap of faith and moved to Columbus to marry her and they have been happily married ever since!

At h2o church, his responsibilities include leading the h2o Off-Campus team, discipleship of young men into Christ-like character, and raising up small group leaders. Mike Malone mike.malone@h2osu.org

Mike came to church for the first time because he saw a poster on campus. When he arrived at church Mike sat in the back and was trying to leave unnoticed, but one of the staff, John, greeted him before he could escape. John invited him to a small group where they discussed the validity of the Bible and why Christ was the only way to heaven. The fact that Jesus wanted to spend an infinite amount of time with him really moved Mike. For his whole life friendships had been transient, never lasting more than a few years. God’s love was/ is so much better. He had also been drinking heavily, and was struck by the fact that freedom was possible, because Christ had died for his sins. All this led Mike to give his life to Christ. Right after that he met his amazing wife, Natalie. Together they have four children, Maggie, twins Erin and Emily, and Evan.

Before knowing Christ Mike wanted to change our laws in an effort to change the world. When he found Christ he realized that the best way to change the world is to allow God to change people’s hearts through sharing the gospel and living it out. This conviction led him into ministry. Mike loves being at h2o because he gets a front row seat to see God change OSU students’ hearts and to see God move in their lives. As a staffer Mike has the pleasure to help students engage with God’s heart for the broken needy through leading community service, mission trips, and sharing our faith.

Karl Meisterheim karl.meisterheim@h2osu.org

Karl grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan. After arriving at the University of Michigan he got involved with New Life Church. During his time in school Karl had the opportunity to grow in his walk with the Lord and caught a vision for campus ministry. in 2003 he graduated with a degree in computer engineering and began working while also remaining involved with the ministry at New Life. In 2005 he went on staff with GCM and in 2008 Karl moved to Columbus as part of the team that planted 'h2o'. Just less than a year after moving he met his wife, Emily. For Karl, it has been a tremendous blessing to be a part of this team and to witness all that God is doing on the campus at The Ohio State University.

Aziz Nahhas aziz.nahhas@h2osu.org

Aziz accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during his junior year of high school in Beavercreek, Ohio. When he came to The Ohio State University in 1985, he joined a campus church much like h2o. It was there that God grabbed his heart with a vision for being a part of fulfilling the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20. Upon graduating with a degree in electrical engineering in 1991, Aziz went on staff with GCM to stay with his campus church and do international student ministry at OSU, and has been here ever since. Aziz specializes in helping non-Christians read and understand the Bible in order that they may be saved, and in helping believers understand and apply the Bible to their lives to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Aziz has over 26 years experience ministering to college students, with 21 of those years focusing on international student ministry. He is married to Heather (for 17 years), and they have three sons: Nathan, Andrew and Josiah. Aziz enjoys movies, reading fiction, board games, playing the guitar, photography, and doing anything with Heather and their boys.

Alyssa Orweller alyssa.orweller@h2osu.org
Dave Orweller dave.orweller@h2osu.org

Alyssa Orweller joined the staff team in July of 2011 after graduating from OSU in March. She got married to her handsome husband, Dave Orweller, in June of 2011 and what a great decision that was! She is now attending graduate school through Ashland Theological Seminary for clinical counseling. while working part-time on staff with the students on North campus. Her dream is to be a counselor for college students through h2o. Alyssa and Dave love kids and like to start a family of their own some day! Alyssa enjoys playing football, volleyball, board games and cards as well as hanging out with friends in her spare time.

Dave graduated from the University of Michigan in December 2006, and went on staff with GCM the following January. After working to raise support, he joined the h2o church planting team and moved to Columbus in the summer of 2008. Since then Dave has loved working to lead the sound team and North h2o team. Dave met his wife Alyssa through h2o and thereby proved that Buckeyes and Wolverines can love one another!

Darryl Phillips dphillips016@columbus.rr.com

Both Darryl and Cheryl had their lives radically changed by God during their college years. As a result they decided to stick around and help future students find life and purpose in Jesus Christ - that was over twenty years ago! They were married in 1990 and have three children, Nicole, Alyssa, and David.

Jon Shah shah@h2osu.org

Jon and Heather both attended The University of Michigan (don't judge), where they fell in love with Jesus Christ and one another. Jon spent 20 years in Ann Arbor, as a student, engineer, campus minister and eventually became a pastor at New Life Church on April's Fool Day, 2001. He has survived in ministry largely because of Heather (his wife of 15 years), large quantities of Diet Coke, and the grace of God. In 2007 he fulfilled a lifelong dream, winning a Intramural Football Championship at the University of Michigan in his 18th season. Looking for the next challenge, they packed up their 4 ridiculously good-looking children and headed to Columbus. It was off to The Ohio State University to help plant h2o, with a dream of reaching Buckeyes for Christ and bringing unity between the great states of Ohio and Michigan.

Julie Wesely julie.wesely@h2osu.org

Julie was born in Minnesota, studied chemical engineering at the University of Michigan, and went on staff and moved to Columbus in 2008. In college, she played cymbals for the Michigan Marching Band and while that is not the team of choice here in Columbus, God used her involvement in the band to change her life. She met a community of people that loved Jesus and devoted their lives to Him. Jesus transformed her life in college, which is why she decided to go on staff where she has the awesome opportunity to see first-hand God continue to change lives. Julie loves being outdoors: running, hiking, golfing, and playing football are among her favorite activities!

Kyle Winters kyle.winters@h2osu.org
Meghan Winters meghan.winters@h2osu.org

Kyle and Meghan have been in campus ministry since 2005 and 2003, respectively. They both had their lives radically changed through a campus ministry and hope to remain on this critical mission field for as long as they can and/or are allowed to play intramural sports. They have two amazing and beautiful children, Makenna and Jackson, who continually remind them of God's goodness in their lives. Every year seems to bring new adventures, and they are excited to see what the future holds for their family and h2o!
